SAN ANTONIO — Police say a man grabbed a box cutter and slashed his girlfriend in the foot in the middle of an argument on the west side of San Antonio late Wednesday night
The boyfriend then left the girlfriend at an abandoned gas station.
It happened just after 10:30 p.m. outside of a closed down Chevron store off of Marbach Road and SW Loop 410.
Officers have not told us why the couple was there in the first place, but there was a problem and both began arguing with each other.
In the middle of the spat, police say the boyfriend, a man in his 20s, pulled out a box cutter and slashed her in the foot.
The boyfriend then left the area. First responders had to pick the girlfriend up and take her to the hospital.
She’s stable and is expected to survive.
Police are looking for the guy who they say drove off in a black 4-door car after the attack.
If you know anything about this, please call SAPD.
This is a developing story.
