SAN ANTONIO — A man is in the hospital after police say he was shot by an unknown suspect, who drove off following the shooting.
It happened just after midnight Sunday in the 1400 block of Pasadena Street northwest of downtown.
Police say the 34-year-old victim was walking on Pasadena Street near I-10 when someone pulled up in a vehicle, called him over to the car and shot him, then drove off.
Officers searched the area but did not find the vehicle or the suspect.
The victim was taken to the hospital by SAFD-EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.
This is still an active investigation.
