SAN ANTONIO — A man was stabbed in the shoulder by a panhandler at a gas station who allegedly tried to steal his truck
San Antonio Police responded to the 1100 block of Rayburn Drive near Harlandale on the south side of town around 2 a.m. Sunday for reports of an aggravated robbery.
The 37-year-old victim told officers he had stopped for gas when he was approached by two men asking for money. As he reached for coins, the suspect demanded his truck and stabbed him in the shoulder.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition with a laceration on his shoulder.
Police were not able to find the two suspects in the surrounding area.
