Police say ‘rolling disturbance’ led to man being shot on south side

Witnesses told officers that the suspect drove off in a SUV following the shooting.

SAN ANTONIO — Police say that a young man was found shot in his lower extremities on the south side late Sunday night after what they called a “rolling disturbance.”

It happened around 11 p.m. in the 100 block of Octavia Place near South Flo9res Street.

Officers say they arrived at the scene to find a man under the age of 20 shot in his lower extremities. He was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.

Police say the victim was shot after he got out of a car with two other people in it. Officers believe it was a “rolling disturbance” that led to a shooting. Witnesses told officers that the suspect drove off in a SUV following the shooting. No description was given for the suspects involved.

Police are investigating.
