SAN ANTONIO — A woman was shot while she was inside her northside-home early Saturday morning, according to police.
It happened around 4:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of Michigan Avenue, not far from I-10 and West Hildebrand Avenue.
Officers arrived to find a 32-year-old woman with a single gunshot wound to her lower extremity. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim told police she was inside her home when an unknown suspect approached her home and fired multiple rounds towards the house. No description was provided of the suspect, who fled from the scene in an unknown direction before officers arrived.
Police are investigating.
