Police search for driver who struck man in crosswalk on southeast side of San Antonio

Police are searching for a dark sedan after a man in his 30s was hit in a crosswalk near SE Military and Goliad.

SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a driver who fled after striking a man in a crosswalk late Monday night on the city’s southeast side.

The crash happened around 11:12 p.m. near the intersection of SE Military Drive and Goliad Road.

According to a San Antonio police sergeant, a man in his 30s was crossing in the crosswalk when he was hit by a dark-colored sedan. The vehicle did not stop and left the scene.

The victim was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center with a broken leg and a rolled ankle. His condition beyond those injuries has not been released.

San Antonio police are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run. SAFD and EMS also responded to the scene.
