Two men trying to help a stalled vehicle were hit by a driver who kept going, police say.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a driver after a hit-and-run left two men injured Saturday night near downtown.
Officers were called around 9:24 p.m. to the 800 block of Probandt for a major accident.
Investigators say a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were in the northbound lanes trying to jump-start an inoperable vehicle when a dark-colored Jeep crashed into the car, and then struck both men.
Police say the driver did not stop and continued driving without rendering aid.
Both victims were thrown into the roadway and taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
