
San Antonio police are searching for a Dodge Ram driver who fled after an early-morning crash on IH-37 that left another driver with non-life-threatening injuries.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are searching for a driver accused of fleeing the scene after a crash that left another person injured early Saturday morning.
According to police, the crash happened around 3:39 a.m. in the 2700 block of IH-37 South, northbound main lanes.
Investigators say the victim was driving in the southbound lanes when a Dodge Ram pickup truck, traveling in the same direction, struck their vehicle. The driver of the pickup then fled the scene.
Police say the suspect vehicle later crashed into a parked car nearby. The driver again left the scene without stopping to provide aid.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
When located, the suspect is expected to face charges of Collision Involving Injury and Collision Involving Damage to a Vehicle.
