Police searching for hit and run driver who hit three vehicles, injuring at least one

One of the drivers was in a Jeep parked in front of her home when the suspect hit her, causing her Jeep to flip over and injure her.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police are searching for the suspect who hit three vehicles late Friday night, flipping one of them and injuring the driver.

Police responded to the 100 block of Gillette Boulevard near Pleasanton Road around 10:30 p.m. for reports of a major accident.

When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old woman in a Jeep that had been flipped over. Police say a driver in a 2010 Honda Accord was traveling west on Gillette when they struck the Jeep, causing it to flip over onto its roof.

The driver then redirected to the left and hit two more parked vehicles on private property.

The driver of the Honda fled the location, neglecting to stop and render aid to the woman in the Jeep. That driver also failed to stop and provide information to the owners of the parked vehicles.

The victim was evaluated by EMS and found to have a minor injury.

When police find the driver of the Honda, they will be charged with one count of Collision Involving Injury and two counts of Collision Involving Damage to Vehicle.

This is a developing story.
