SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are once again asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects behind a violent Thanksgiving-night shooting in 2021 that left three people dead and several others injured.
The attack happened on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, around 8 p.m. at a home located at 4001 Sunrise Creek Drive on the northeast side of town.
According to investigators, a white four-door vehicle stopped in front of the home. A suspect in the front passenger seat opened fire on the house, which was occupied by multiple adults and children preparing for the holiday.
Four adults were struck by gunfire, including Charles Wolford, 28, Eugene Hodge, 25, and Shanobea Wolford. As well as the victims’ mother, whose name has not been released. Charles Wolford and Eugene Hodge died from their injuries at the scene.
Shanobea Wolford was initially paralyzed in the shooting and died seven months later, on June 1, 2022, from complications related to her injuries. The victims’ mother survived.
Witnesses told investigators they saw a light-complexioned male firing from the suspect vehicle before it sped away.
The case remains unsolved nearly four years later. SAPD is now seeking any information that could lead to the identification and location of the suspect or suspects responsible for the capital murders of Wolford and Hodge and the later death of Shanobea Wolford.
