Police searching for suspect who shot two people on west side

Officers arrived to find two victims, one grazed by a bullet, the other shot in the leg.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police are searching for the suspect who shot two people on the west side early Sunday morning.

It happened around 12:45 a.m. in the 3200 block of Monterrey near West Commerce Street.

Officers arrived to find two victims, one grazed by a bullet, the other shot in the leg. Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police say they don’t have any solid leads on a suspect. 

Investigators are still working to piece together what led up to the shooting and who may be responsible.
