Police seek suspect in San Antonio bike theft and assault

The victim was taken to the hospital out of precaution with a minor gash on his forearm.

SAN ANTONIO — A suspect is on the run after police say they stabbed and stole another man’s bike just west of downtown.

Police were called to the intersection of South Medina and Buena Vista for a cutting in progress around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Once there, they found a victim with a minor gash on his forearm. The man said an unknown suspect cut him in the arm, stole his bike and left the location on the bike.

The victim was taken to the hospital out of precaution.

Police were unable to give a description of the suspect.
