Police seek suspects in deadly west-side robbery that killed Devin Farias

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information in a west-side homicide that left a man dead in March.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are asking for the public’s help in solving a deadly robbery that left a man dead on the city’s west-side.

Authorities say  Devin Farias was killed during a robbery at an apartment complex along the 7600 block of West U.S. Highway 90 on March 11.

According to investigators, three suspects went to the apartment around 1:48 a.m. under the pretense of buying a gun. Once inside, police say all three pulled out firearms and held others at gunpoint while robbing the victim.

Farias followed the suspects outside, where police say all three opened fire, killing him.

The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a fourth person.

Investigators are working to identify all individuals involved, including the three suspects who entered the apartment and the driver who helped them escape.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information is urged to submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

The investigation remains ongoing.
