POLICE: Woman arrested for intoxication assault after crash injures 6, including 5 children, in Tyler

According to Tyler Police Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh, the wreck occurred at S. Broadway Ave. and E. Front St. shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday.

TYLER, Texas — One woman is arrested after striking another vehicle filled with six occupants sending them all to the hospital early Sunday morning in Tyler.

According to Tyler Police Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh, the wreck occurred at S. Broadway Ave. and E. Front St. shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday.

The vehicle containing the six occupants sent one woman and two children to a local hospital and three other children were transported to a hospital in Dallas for their injuries.

At this time there is no further information regarding the status of the injured victims.

According to Smith County Jail records Kylee Johns, 28, of Arp has been arrested and charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle.
