Popular Kerrville-based jewelry company donating proceeds of Texas charm to flood relief

KERRVILLE, Texas — A popular jewelry company known for its faith-based designs is giving back to the community it calls home after deadly flash flooding swept through the Texas Hill Country.

James Avery Artisan Jewelry – founded in Kerrville, Texas – announced that it’s committing $1 million to support the needs of the community and the road to recovery, focusing on food, shelter, mental health care and other critical needs that emerge. 

In addition, from now until Aug. 4, the company will donate 100% of the proceeds from its “Deep in the Heart of Texas” charm to relief efforts in Kerrville and surrounding communities. James Avery said the charm has always “celebrated the pride and resilience of our state” and now carries a deeper meaning. ⁣

“To all those affected, we send our love, strength, and heartfelt prayers,” the company wrote. “And to the first responders and neighbors who have stepped in with open hands and open hearts, we offer our deepest gratitude.”

On its website, the jewelry company has also posted a notice that its Kerrville retail store, manufacturing facilities and distribution center will be closed through Monday. Order processing and shipping will also be delayed.
