
Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire on the outside of the home and prevent it from spreading.
SAN ANTONIO — Fire crews responded to a small house fire on the city’s southwest side Tuesday morning.
Officials with San Antonio Fire Department say that smoke was spotted coming from a home in the 6100 block of Macdona Street when they arrived at the location.
SAFD said they found a small fire burning on the outside of the home. Crews quickly put out the flames before they could spread further.
No injuries were reported. Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Firefighters also noted possible hoarder conditions inside the home, which may factor into the ongoing review of the incident.
