The North Texas-raised music star’s childhood home has been listed for sale.
GRAPEVINE, Texas — Finally, here’s your chance to live like Post Malone.
Or, at least, Austin Post.
The North Texas-raised music star’s childhood home is up for sale in Grapevine, according to a Zillow listing, which describes a “tastefully updated” 1,685-square-foot home on Eaton Lane in the heart of the Tarrant County city.
The home is listed for $549,900. Check out the full Zillow listing here. That’s a sharp uptick in value for the home.
Post’s family sold the home in 2019 for $325,000, according to Tarrant County property records. Post Malone’s father, Rich Post, told WFAA the family initially bought the home in 2006 for $180,000.
The listing mentions its famous previous resident, while also touting its “thoughtfully renovated residence” with “an open-concept floor plan with excellent flow, abundant natural light, and a great use of space throughout.”
There’s also a pool mere steps from the back door of the home — literally, it’s right outside the door, according to the listing photos.
“Step outside to a private backyard oasis featuring a sparkling pool and upgraded decking—perfect for entertaining or relaxing Texas-style,” the listing says. “Ideally located less than a one-mile walk to Grapevine’s sought-after Main Street, offering endless dining, shopping, and access to the nearby recreation center.”
Meyer Group Real Estate, the brokerage handling the sell of the home, teased the listing (and its connection to Post Malone) on Instagram:
Posty’s family first moved to Grapevine after his father became the Cowboys’ manager of concessions. He later graduated from Grapevine High School before launching his music career. This past season, Post was the halftime performer for the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and he most recently performed Sunday night at the Grammy’s in a tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne.
