POTEET, Texas — The Poteet Strawberry Festival Association has revealed its music lineup for its 79th annual event, combining country, Tejano and regional favorites for a weekend of live entertainment and family fun in South Texas.
The festival, set for April 10–12 on the grounds at 9199 North State Highway 16 in the “Strawberry Capital of Texas,” will kick off with music as soon as the gates open Friday evening, organizers said.
This year’s lineup of performers include:
Friday, April 10: Los Invasores de Nuevo León, America Cuevas and David Lee Garza on the main stage. Tracy Byrd, Kevin Fowler and Brandon Michael on the lions stage.
Saturday, April 11: Pesado, Little Joe and EZ Band on the main stage. Ole 60, Huser Brothers, Rob Langdon and Lowland Revelry on the lions stage. Campanas de América and Dueling Pianos in the beer garden.
Sunday, April 12: Braxton Keith, Kody West and Haydon Haddock on the main stage. Secretto and Ruben Ramos on the lions stage. LC Rocks and Dueling Pianos in the beer garden.
In addition to music, the annual festival offers carnival rides, local food and craft vendors, rodeo events and more. The Poteet Strawberry Festival Association says its mission is to celebrate community and agriculture while providing entertainment for all ages.
Organizers said this year’s festival continues a tradition of live performances that draw visitors from across South Texas and beyond, making the three‑day event a springtime family favorite.
