BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — IMPACT DAYS: March 4, 6-8
Reason: Chances for rain over the next several days as well as storms (some of which could be strong).
The breakdown
We have chances for rain over the next several days and some areas could see a few inches of rain over the next seven to eight days.
There is the potential for a few strong to severe storms Wednesday afternoon and evening. Depends if we can break the “cap” but if storms do materialize, large hail and locally heavy downpours are the most likely hazards. Stay weather aware and always have a way to receive warnings.
Thursday is about the same, with clouds and a few showers. It’s similar on Friday.
On Saturday, there is a 40-50% chance for rain, but it will be mostly light during the day. By Saturday evening and early into Sunday, there is a really good chance for rain and locally heavy rain is possible.
The National Weather Service is also reporting that the best chances for rain are over the weekend.
There are even more chances for rain Tuesday into Wednesday of next week.
