Officials say that a power line snapped in the middle and fell to the ground across Interstate 10, causing the widespread outage.

CONVERSE, Texas — Power has been restored to more than 4,000 customers in Converse after authorities said a vehicle crashed into a power line Wednesday morning, causing it to snap and fall to the ground.
