Students trained alongside cast members of the Tony award-winning musical learning dance techniques.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio students received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity Saturday morning learning from Broadway professionals.
Students of all skill levels from across the state joined for a special dance Masterclass at The Espee where choreographers from Hadestown hosted an exclusive workshop.
The aspiring young dancers trained alongside cast members of the Tony award-winning musical learning dance techniques.
Students like Incarnate Word High School junior Elena Sapien, showed up eager to learn.
“It’s a really great opportunity for anybody who wants to go into musical theatre,” she said.
The Masterclass was free and open to high schoolers from both San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley.
