DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys are continuing to beef up their interior defensive line, as the team is reportedly signing veteran defensive tackle Linval Joseph to its roster, according to NFL insider Josina Anderson.
Linval was drafted by the New York Giants in 2010 and spent this past season with the Buffalo Bills. Before that, however, Linval spent six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings — who, at the time, were led by the Cowboys’ new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer.
The 35-year-old D-lineman won a Super Bowl with the Giants in 2012 and was invited to the Pro Bowl in both 2016 and 2017.

These new veteran pieces may also provide help and guidance to the Cowboys’ 2023 first-round pick DT Mazi Smith, who only started three games last season and missed the Cowboys’ second preseason game earlier this month when he suffered an unexpected allergic reaction to peanuts.
