World Naked Bike Ride could come to San Antonio next summer, according to its ticket website SimpleTix, which was first reported on by the San Antonio Express-News. The website states the ride’s listed location will take place at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa from June 15 to June 30.

Every year, in cities around the world, people ride bikes naked to celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride was created in 2003 to demonstrate the vulnerability of cyclists on the road, protest against car culture, and promote positive body image, according to the website.

It’s unclear if the event is taking place at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa or near it or even at all. Hotel management has not confirmed to the media whether the event is happening there. Additionally, the event on SimpleTix doesn’t offer a clear indication to reach organizers.

The event has occurred in many cities such as Houston, Chicago, and Portland, drawing thousands of cyclists. When it occurs, the exact details of the event (including the route) aren’t revealed until the day before the event. So, possibly the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is a distraction to the exact site.

In any case, it’s not legal in Texas. The Lone Star State does have an indecent exposure law. There’s also an ordinance in San Antonio that prohibits nudity in public places, according to the Express-News.

The website does say the ride is “as bare as you dare,” meaning go nude at your own risk.
