SCHERTZ, Texas — Schertz police say a major collision involving a train has blocked an intersection in the town.
The accident happened around noon at Schertz Parkway and FM 78.
Police did not say what led up to the accident or whether a vehicle or pedestrian was involved. They did say that intersection will be closed for several hours due to the ongoing investigation. Police suggested finding an alternate route while crews work the accident.
FM 3009 is not affected by the collision.
