Road rage incident leads to shooting at far west-side QuikTrip, BCSO says

BCSO is investigating the shooting. The victim is currently listed as stable with non-life threatening injuries.

SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said a road rage incident turned violent on Monday afternoon.

According to BCSO, the incident escalated to the suspect shooting at a male victim and striking him in the head. The victim stopped at a QuikTrip located off Marbach Road and Loop 410 on the city’s far west-side.

Officials said the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to University Hospital in stable condition.

This is an ongoing investigation. No word yet on any arrests.
