Parks across Texas have been sharing photos showing Bronto as she tours the state on her road trip.
TEXAS, USA — What may have begun as an April Fools Day joke has evolved into a social media sensation as dinosaur sightings have been popping up in parks all over Texas.
Bronto the dinosaur is on a road trip through Texas Parks across the state, as they all get involved and share “photos” of the behemoth beast. She was momentarily “captured” by Park Police, but that did not slow her down! She was only detained for a minute before hitting the road again to visit more great parks across Texas.
“Dinosaur Valley Rangers have been tracking her movements but have found no distinct pattern,” said a Dinosaur Valley State Park – Texas Parks and Wildlife social media post. “She could appear at any Texas State Park, at any time.”
The park says they believe she began these Texas road trip in April as a way to celebrate Texas State Parks month, but this has not been officially confirmed.
And now Texas Parks has even made merchandise you can purchase about her road trip!
Park officials hop that Bronto makes it back home before the 10th annual Spring Wingding, which is April 19.
Dinosaur Valley holds the annual celebration of all creatures winged and migratory on that day and they would hate for her to miss it.
Admission is free that day, and the park expects a lot of visitors coming in to get their picture with their world famous dinosaurs!
You can learn more about Spring Wingding by visiting their website.
The photos from her road trip are quite creative!
