TEXAS, USA — UPDATE 4/8

For those of you wondering how they captured her, it was because she was using her Texas State Park Pass and they were able to track her movements.

Texas Parks have promised there will be even more epic adventures in the future.

“Keep your eyes peeled for Bronto’s next big move – you never know where this prehistoric park lover will pop up next<‘ said Texas Parks.

What may have begun as an April Fools Day joke has evolved into a social media sensation as dinosaur sightings have been popping up in parks all over Texas.

Bronto the dinosaur is on a road trip through Texas Parks across the state, as they all get involved and share “photos” of the behemoth beast.

“Dinosaur Valley Rangers have been tracking her movements but have found no distinct pattern,” said a Dinosaur Valley State Park – Texas Parks and Wildlife social media post. “She could appear at any Texas State Park, at any time.”

The park says they believe she began these Texas road trip in April as a way to celebrate Texas State Parks month, but this has not been officially confirmed.

Park officials hop that Bronto makes it back home before the 10th annual Spring Wingding, which is April 19.

Dinosaur Valley holds the annual celebration of all creatures winged and migratory on that day and they would hate for her to miss it.

Admission is free that day, and the park expects a lot of visitors coming in to get their picture with their world famous dinosaurs!

You can learn more about Spring Wingding by visiting their website.
