Carter Bryant shines with 16 points in Spurs’ 106-81 loss to the Hornets.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs rookie Carter Bryant shined in the Vegas Summer Spurs’ first loss to the Hornets, 106-81.

Bryant had 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists, and shot the ball well, going 6-9 from the field and 4-6 from the three-point line.

Summer sensation David Jones-Garcia posted 12 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Harrison Ingram led San Antonio with 17 points and four rebounds.

Charlotte built a 56-34 halftime lead with Bryant leading the Spurs with 11 points at the break. Ingram scored 12 of his 17 points in the second half.

San Antonio is now 3-1 at the Vegas Summer League.
