Rookie Dylan Harper participates in a Turkey Drive for the holidays; Austin Spurs news and notes

The Spurs rookie guard helped the east side of San Antonio ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs rookie Dylan Harper got in the holiday spirit and participated in a Turkey Drive as part of the Spurs Season of Giving.

H-E-B and Harper teamed up to support Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on San Antonio’s East Side, donating 200 turkeys to the church’s food pantry and participating in its Thanksgiving food drive.

The church, which serves 150–200 families each month, distributed the turkeys to local families in need at its site, helping ensure a brighter holiday season for the community.

The Spurs have been heavily active in the local community.

Recently, De’Aaron Fox and his family visited families from the Morrill Elementary School in the Harlandale ISD, distributing turkeys and non-perishable essentials ahead of the holidays. It was a chance for the Fox family to connect directly with residents, have fun with a raffle, and offer photo opportunities for fans to meet the Spurs guard.
