SA firefighters save northeast-side home from early morning blaze, officials say

Officials say no injuries were reported.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio firefighters were able to save a northeast-side home after a fire ripped through a shed behind the house early Sunday morning, according to SAFD. 

Fire crews were called to the 4700 block of Juniper Farm, near N Foster Road and I-10, around 2:45 a.m. 

Officials said when crews arrived the flames were already spreading towards the house but firefighters were able to quickly attack the fire and ultimately saved the home from burning. 

According to SAFD, the family was able to escape and no injuries were reported. 

Fire investigators are now working to figure out what sparked the fire.
