
Police said a 23-year-old man failed to negotiate the curve as he approached a roundabout and struck the raised concrete sidewalk.
SAN ANTONIO — A man riding a moped suffered serious injuries after San Antonio police said he crashed at a intersection just north of downtown early Saturday morning.
According to police, a 23-year-old man was operating a silver 2021 KYMCO moped southbound on Blanco Road. As he approached the roundabout at Fulton Avenue, police said he failed to negotiate the curve and struck the raised concrete sidewalk.
The man was ejected from the rider seat and sustained life-threatening injuries, according to officials. He was transported by EMS to the hospital.
Police said there are no criminal elements to this case.
