SAN ANTONIO β It’s officially rodeo season once again in the Alamo City. The 2026 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo returns to the Frost Bank Center and Freeman Coliseum fairgrounds with three weeks of rodeo action, live music, carnival rides, livestock shows and more. Rodeo events & what to expect

ProRodeo: Expect bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback bronc, steer wrestling, team roping and more as top competitors battle for prize money and titles.

Charreada: Traditional Mexican rodeo competitions celebrating Hispanic heritage are part of the festivities.

Mutton Bustinβ / Bustinβ in the Barn: Kids compete by riding sheep in this fan-favorite fairground event, with a chance to perform inside the arena.

Grounds Admission: Fairgrounds are open daily, with Sunday-Thursday hours typically 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

Ticket Costs: Standard admission and carnival rides cost vary, with weekdays generally cheaper than weekends; military members often get free grounds admission with a valid ID.
Carnival wristbands and fairgrounds access can usually be purchased in advance or at the gate once the event opens.
