SAN ANTONIO — A car fire quickly spread from a car engine to a second vehicle parked under a carport, then up through the eaves into the attic late Monday night.
It happened around 11:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Vincent Street near SE Military Drive.
When firefighters arrived at the home, they found the fire had fully engulfed one vehicle, and spread to a second vehicle parked under a carport. The blaze then spread up under the eaves and into the attic of the home.
Officials say there was substantial damage to the attic and at least one of the vehicles is a complete loss. The second vehicle sustained damage to the front of it.
All of the residents in the home made it out safely and nobody was injured.
The family will be displaced due to the damages caused by the fire.
