Crews were able to stop the fire quickly and everyone made it out safely.
SAN ANTONIO — A vehicle fire that quickly spread to a home on the east side was extinguished by firefighters before it could do more damage.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Semlinger Road not far from Loop 410.
SAFD says the call came in for a vehicle fire but when they got there, it had begun to spread to the home.
They were able to quickly get the fire under control and stop the flames from spreading.
Everyone was bale to to get out safely and firefighters saved the home from major damage.
The vehicle fire is currently under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
