
Officials initially believed an elderly woman may have been inside the home, but learned she was actually with her family at the time of the fire.
SAN ANTONIO — Fire investigators are looking into what caused a fire at a home in an east-side neighborhood early Tuesday.
SAFD responded to the home on Gibbs Street near North New Braunfels Avenue just after 3:30 a.m. for reports of a fire.
Flames were visible from the back side of the home when fire crews arrived at the location.
Officials initially believed an elderly woman may have been inside the home, but learned she was actually with her family at the time of the fire.
No estimate was provided as to the amount of damage caused by the blaze. Nobody was injured.
Investigators remain at the scene to try and determine the cause of the fire.
