Firefighters quickly extinguish a vehicle fire that spread to a home’s garage on Arancione Avenue; no injuries reported.
SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters say a vehicle caught fire and ended up burning a northeast side home’s garage early Tuesday morning.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Arancione Avenue.
Firefighters were able to knock the fire out in minutes, but it had already spread to the garage causing moderate damage.
Nobody was injured and all but one of the families in the four-plex will be able to return home. The American Red Cross will be assisting the family.
Officials say the cause is likely due to the vehicle being worked on just a few days ago.
This is a developing story.
