SAN ANTONIO — A heavy fire on the southeast side destroys the back of a home, according to authorities.
Crews arrived at the 200 block of F Street just after 1 p.m. Friday to flames shooting out of the roof of the home. Authorities say nobody was home at the time.
The fire destroyed the back of the home and left a portion of the roof collapsed, authorities say. Fire damage is expected to be “extensive.”
Fire crews say an “extensive hoarding situation” in the home created challenges to get in and put out the fire.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
