Officials said four to five 18-wheeler trailers containing cardboard and wooden palettes caught fire.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio firefighters tackled flames that sparked inside multiple 18-wheeler trailers outside a moving company on the city’s northeast side, officials said.
According to SAFD, nearly 100 firefighters responded to the blaze at Apple Moving located off the 7800 block of Webbles Drive around 11:20 a.m. on Friday.
Officials said four to five 18-wheeler trailers containing cardboard and wooden palettes caught fire. Due to strong winds, officials said flames began to spread quickly.
Firefighters were able to contain the flames to the property and knocked out the flames quickly, officials said. Crews are working to put out hot spots.
At least four to five trailers were damaged with at least two appearing to be a total loss, according to SAFD.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
