SAN ANTONIO — An overnight fire has caused at least moderate damage to a southwest-side home, and authorities are investigating it as arson.
Crews were called to the 5600 block of Seacomber Place at about 9:52 p.m. Saturday for a structure fire. When there, they found heavy fire coming from the home at the address.
The fire was under control within minutes of crews arriving, according to authorities. The home however sustained “moderate to heavy damage.” Authorities say burglar bars and other obstacles made it a challenge for crews to completely extinguish the fire.
Based on information gathered at the scene, arson investigators were called.
This is a developing story.
