SAFD rescues woman from burning northeast-side house, authorities say

The woman was taken to a local hospital for injuries and for possible smoke inhalation.

SAN ANTONIO — A woman was rescued from a burning house on the northeast side Thursday morning, authorities say.

At about 8 a.m., the San Antonio Fire Department were called to the 5100 block of Prince Valiant Drive in response to a structure fire.

While there, a woman was rescued from the burning structure by SAFD. The woman was then taken to a local hospital for injuries and for possible smoke inhalation.

A reporter is currently on the way to the scene and we will update this article as we learn more.
