Fire officials say both homes appear to be total losses. No injuries were reported.
SAN ANTONIO — Two homes suffered severe damage after an overnight fire on the city’s northeast side, according to San Antonio fire officials.
Police said firefighters responded to a shed fire at a home located on Asteroid Street near Merritime Court at around 12:25 a.m. on Thursday. Officials said the blaze appeared to have jumped the fence and caught two homes on the next block behind it on fire.
One home appeared to be vacant for sell and the other was occupied at the time of the fire, according to officials.
Both homes were severely damaged and appear to be total losses. No injuries were reported.
Officials say they are investigating the cause of the fire.
