SAN ANTONIO — Multiple San Antonio businesses are celebrating Pride month with special food, drinks and discounts throughout the rest of the month.
Organizers say several hotels, restaurants and venues will be offering custom deals, curated drinks and rainbow-hued treats in honor of love, inclusivity and community.
For those with a sweet-tooth, Bakery Lorraine is offering “PRIDE” donuts for $5 in June, according to a press release. The “Instagram-worthy” donuts are glazed and splattered with bold colors. The proceeds will go towards Thrive Youth Center in San Antonio and Boerne Pride.
The donuts will be available at every Bakery Lorraine location.
According to a press release, downtown hotels like Plaza San Antoni Hotel & Spa will host a pride pool party on Saturday, June 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The party will feature a live DJ, a Pride-inspired cocktail menu, a temporary tattoo station and more. The party is free to all hotel guests staying at Plaza San Antonio. Locals can also purchase a pass to attend the event.
Inside at the Corinne San Antonio restaurant, guests can find the “Out & About” cocktail. The light drink is a mixture of mango syrup, lime, and clarified cucumber juice, garnished with a cucumber ribbon.
And at the Anaqua Garden Bar, located in the heart of the plaza, they will be offering the “Y’all Means All” cocktail, which includes Tito’s Coconut Cordial, guava, lime, Topo Chico, and is topped with Sour Patch Kids. Organizers say proceeds from the cocktails will benefit The Pride Center San Antonio.
Both of the cocktails are available through June.
Kimpton Santo is also offering an exclusive “Pride Package” which is set to donate 15% of its proceeds to the local pride center. Guests who book the package will also receive two signature cocktails at the Tenfold Rooftop including a map of local LGBTQAI+-owned businesses.
Kimpton Santo is also hosting a Pride Wrap Party and Drag Show on Sunday, June 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The party will be hosted by drag icon Kristi Waters at Tenfold Rooftop. Guests can purchase general admission tickets or VIP tickets, which include meet-and-greets, drinks and reserved seating.
