San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers need help solving a 2023 fatal hit-and-run case that took the life of a 29-year-old man.

On June 25, 2023, Isai Manuel Alvarado was walking on the 900 block of San Pedro around 3 a.m. Police say he was not at a crosswalk and crossed the street, being hit by a dark blue sedan in the process.

The driver fled the scene before police arrived.

Two days later, on June 27, 2023, Alvarado was pronounced dead.

Now, two years later, police are once again asking for help in the case.

If you recognize this vehicle below or know anything about this case, you are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP. They may pay up to $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

At the time, KENS 5 spoke to Alvarado’s nephew Andres Jimenez.

Jimenez said the waiting room at the hospital was full of people who loved and cared for Alvarado. He believes that shows just how much of an impact he had on others.

“We held on to hope as much as we could, until we couldn’t anymore,” Jimenez said. “And those days were long and dreading and exhausting for my family. You know, we don’t want to drag this out longer.”
