BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — IMPACT DAYS: Sunday, Nov. 9 & Monday, Nov. 10 & Tuesday, Nov. 11

REASON: Sunday (fire weather), Monday and Tuesday (cold mornings)

The breakdown

Sunday will be gusty and dusty, with a Red Flag Warning in effect until 9 p.m. and a Wind Advisory from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Winds are expected to strengthen overnight and remain strong throughout the day.

A cold front has moved through the greater San Antonio area. In it’s wake, north winds of 15-25 mph with gusts of 30-40 mph are expected Sunday. In addition to the gusty winds, low humidity will result in critical fire weather conditions. 

Future 

Monday and Tuesday mornings will bring much colder temperatures. Forecasters say the Hill Country could see its first freeze of the season, with Kerrville potentially dropping to 27 degrees early Tuesday, Veterans Day.
