SAN ANTONIO — As the new school year approaches, the San Antonio Public Library is trying to ensure students have the supplies they need to be successful in the classroom.
The SAPL is hosting a ‘School Supply Swap,” on Sunday August 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Potranco Branch Library.
They are asking for gently used school supplies for the upcoming school year, including backpacks, markers, crayons, pencils, folders, paper and other items.
The event is open to the public, so families are able to stop by and grab whatever they need. The remaining supplies will be donated to a local school district.
