San Antonio Food Bank launches first-ever Restaurant Weeks

The Food Bank says it’s a delicious opportunity to highlight local businesses that are serving more than just great food.

SAN ANTONIO — Are you a food lover and like trying out new local places in San Antonio? You’re in luck because the San Antonio Food Bank is debuting Restaurant Weeks, a delicious new way to support our community in San Antonio. 

Starting June 7 through June 21, local restaurants will showcase their best dishes and invite diners to enjoy their favorite spots or even discover new ones. This will help to provide meals for children in need through the Summer Meals for Kids program, which works to ensure that no child goes hungry.

From Saturday, June 7, through Saturday, June 21, participating restaurants are showcasing locally grown produce from the San Antonio Food Bank Urban Farm in a special menu item. “Each participating restaurant is serving up something special for San Antonio Food Bank Restaurant Weeks,” said the San Antonio Food Bank. “Enjoy a promotion item highlighting produce or herbs from our Urban Farm, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank.”

Every meal you buy helps to fight hunger and supports the Food Bank’s Summer Meals for Kids program.
