Local food partners are donating sales to Kerr County flood relief.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio restaurants, locally owned and operated, and statewide chains are donating sales revenue from Wednesday and into next week to Kerr County flood relief efforts.
We made visits to P. Terry’s, Bubba’s 33, Rudy’s and Fralo’s in Leon Springs to see how they are stepping up for those displaced in Kerrville and the surrounding Hill Country area.
P. Terry’s owner Patrick Terry told us he is grieving inside for so many people go through so much right now.
“Starting tomorrow (Thursday) at all 36 P. Terry’s locations in Texas we’ll be donating one hundred percent of the profits,” Terry said. “We look at differently. It is just absolutely full of sadness. We think it is necessary and we want to be a part of it, but man it is different this time.”
We also spoke with Bubba’s 33 partner Brady Kilpatrick. They are donating proceeds from today, and tonight only at this point to Kerr Country flood relief.
“All Bubba’s 33 and all Texas Roadhouse’s in the state of Texas proceeds are going to disaster relief in Kerr County,” Kilpatrick said.
So you’ll have to hurry! Again tonight only for Texas Roadhouse’s and Bubba’s 33 locations in the Alamo City.
Leon Springs staple, Fralo’s, is stepping up their pizza today and especially Friday for Kerr County support.
“Friday we are donating half of the sales from all the pepperoni pizza’s that we sell with it being the most popular,” said owner Frank Hakspiel. “We thought we would keep it easy and do our part as much as we can.”
And you can add Rudy’s to that list. The San Antonio favorite will donate 10% of all profits between their four San Antonio locations Monday through Wednesday of next week.
