To help you have a stress free travel experience, the airport is giving us a heads up on what they’re expecting and some things you can do to help.
The folks at San Antonio International Airport are expecting 145,000 travelers to fly in and out of here for the 4th of July holiday.
“We expect 10,000 more travelers than last year, so we know the demand will be high ,” said Jesus Saenz, Director of Airports, City of San Antonio Aviation Department. “School is out, and everyone is ready to experience some summer fun, so if you’re planning to travel, you can reserve a parking spot at least two hours before your flight. We want every traveler to have a smooth experience as they enter San Antonio International Airport and head to their destinations. By having a parking plan and arriving early, you will have time to park or valet, get to through the security checkpoint, and to the terminals. We want our travelers to have a stress-free beginning or end to their vacation by following this advice.”
To get ready for the holiday weekend, the airport is running a new campaign to reserve parking or catch a ride.
