San Antonio leaders announce 2025 DreamWeek event lineup

DreamWeek is 16 day long summit supporting the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior through collaboration and open forums.

SAN ANTONIO — Happening Tuesday, you can learn how you can make a change tackling real world issues with the lineup announcement for DreamWeek 2025.

DreamWeek is the nation’s largest community curated summit supporting the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior to bridge the gap between people and ideas from across the community.

Organizers say there are over 250 confirmed events for this year’s DreamWeek.

“We are neighbors,” is the theme for this year’s summit.

Tuesday’s press conference will include Mayor Ron Nirenberg and DreamWeek Founder Shokare Nakpodia who will be going over this year’s lineup in detail.

More than 150 partners are involved in this year’s summit.

The events are going to be at different venues around Downtown San Antonio.

Some events you can get involved with include the Legacy Ball, providing 1000 meals for the hungry, yoga at the botanical garden and panels for youth leadership, and the state of the black woman.

DreamWeek kicks off on Friday and will end on January 26.

Tuesday’s press conference is going to be happening at the Malu Theater at 5 p.m.
