Investigators said the victim and the suspect knew each other because they had previously dated the same woman.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested Saturday evening after San Antonio police said he allegedly threatened another man with a gun during a fight on the city’s northwest side.
According to SAPD, officers were called around 6:40 p.m. to the 9700 block of Huebner Road for reports of a disturbance involving a fight and a weapon.
Investigators said the victim and the suspect, ages 31 and 32, knew each other because they had previously dated the same woman. The argument reportedly turned physical before the suspect went to his vehicle, retrieved a handgun and pointed it at the victim while threatening to kill him, police said.
Witnesses at the scene confirmed the altercation and the threat, according to investigators.
Police said the suspect was taken into custody without incident when officers arrived.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
